1.) Some of my best tips and practices for time management starts with me making sure not to procrastinate. When I get an assignment I plan out the rest of my day and see when I have time to complete it. Then I fit it into my schedule and when that time comes around I do the assignment. I also set reminders on my phone and put it in my planner to make sure I don't forget. Doing all this helps me make sure that I am always on top of my assignments.
Some of my best tips for time management include blocking out all distractions. Distractions lead to procrastination and eventually take up a lot of valuable time. I would say to plan forward amd focus on what tasks you need to get done. Without distractions and procrastination, you end up taking less time completely the task in hand.
(1) Personally, my time management skills all come down to using a bullet journal. In here, I can list all that needs to be done for the day and prioritize them using symbols. Given the nature of a bullet journal, the layout is usually creative, fun, and colorful, so it keeps me motivated to use it daily. Besides that, having some kind of routine, even if it is not for schoolwork, can keep you on task. Some examples of non-schoolwork routines include meal routines and bedtime routines.
2. If I had two tests in one day, I would take more time to study on the subject that I am having most trouble with. I would time manage the hours of study for both subjects. The subject I feel most confident about, I would study for at least 1-2 hours. As for the subject that I need more help with, I would study for about 2-3 hours and practice on some worksheets to get a better understanding. On the day of both tests, I would use a sticky note and write down everything I studied on and read it when I am walking in between classes before testing begins.
Some of my best tips for time management is to plan ahead. When you plan ahead you know exactly what needs to get done. Another tip for time manement is to make sure that your taking care of you body. Excersise and get alot of sleep. To manage you time, you have to prioritize things. Things that are import and urgent. You can also have a schedule. A schedule will help you to stay on track at all times.
1). Some of my best tips for time management would be to always make a list, organization is key, if you're not organized, it'll make things harder. Also, you should always set deadlines for yourself and try to stick to it. Try to not multi-task because we may think we can handle it but then it becomes too much for us, so try to put you focus on one thing at a time. Always make sure you get enough sleep to be able to function properly so you can be on top of things.
1)My biggest time management tip would be to make realistic goals that you know you can achieve. You know yourself best so be honest with yourself and make goals you can reach when it comes to getting your work done. For example if I have an essay due I know for a fact that I need at least 3 days minimum to write something decent. After 4 years of high school I've been able to feel out how long certain assignments take me. I know that it would be a bad idea to procrastinate and write my essay 2 days before because I know that it won't be the best I can make it. So setting fair goals and having the discipline to reach those goals is key. I’m currently working on the discipline part… As long as you check in with yourself and make sure you're going at an appropriate pace you will be able to crush any assignment that comes your way.
1. Some of my best tips for time management would be to plan ahead. In order for me to manage my time wisely, I need to write out everything I have to do and set apart time for that specific task. I always give myself more time just in case, I rather overestimate my time rather then underestimate and not have enough time to finish and have one thing get piled on top of the other. Another tip would be to stay organized. I keep my things organized and I tend to focus on one thing at a time in order for me to get it done more efficiently, I try to stray from distractions so I can stay focused.
1. My time management skills honestly need a lot of work. I tend to space out a lot while working for no apparent reason. I also am a bit of a perfectionist, which makes finishing projects difficult for me because every detail must be just right. Personally, my best tips for time management are not getting hung up on the little details (unless absolutely necessary) and starting projects as soon as I receive them. If I start sooner and chip away at a project a little each day, I space out less because breaking up the work load is less overwhelming.
One of my best practices for time management is to avoid assuming I have a lot of time, because it can have a huge impact on my working pace. Often times, my mind likes to imagine that I have more time than the reality, so I begin to procrastinate. I, then, have to attempt to complete all the assignments last minute, and stress levels reach their peaks. However, if that doesn't work, then I'd have to resort to faking a sickness (just kidding!). The moral of the story is, always assume your assignments will take much longer than you think.
The two tips that I have for time management is having a planner and using alarms. A planner allowed the student to write down each assignment and task that they have to complete. With that being said, the student will always have a reference on what needs to be done . They will always be aware of an upcoming assignment because the planner will be there to remind them. The other tip that I have is consist of setting alarms . You could use your phone to properly distribute your time. You could set a specific time for you to study, complete assignments and have free time. Each alarm will give you a certain limit of time, which will allow you to use your wisely.
If I got to take two exams in one day, the first thing I would do would be to organize myself, see my schedule to know how many hours apart I have from one exam to the other to know how much time I can study, then study the day that I take the exam and the things that I can not memorize very well write them on paper and read them over and over again until the exams begin.
What are some of your best tips and practices for time management? My best tips and practices for time management would include being able to tell friends "no." I believe that is very valuable because not all of your friends have the same class schedule as you. Meaning, they could be out partying and they have a class at 4:00 PM, while you have a 9:00 AM class. Another tip for great time management in college is being able to prioritize your time, and remember why you are in college. If a student can remember they are at college to learn and have fun they will be able to balance it. Also another great tip would be being able to write out how you want to schedule your time, and put it on paper.
Some of my best tips and practices for time management involves planning ahead, making a list of things you have to do all day to stay organized. If you don’t you are not organized you are going to forget what homework you had to do, and you are just making your life more difficult. That is why you have to prioritize your things. Another thing is to not procrastinate, because it can lead you to stress. Also it can leave you with so little time to do your assignments.
Question # (1) Some of my best tips and practices for time management is to stay focus on my task. First, I plan my day ahead by listing all the tasks I must complete and make a deadline to follow. One of the key factors of time management that I practice is staying away from distractions. Distraction can cause procrastination, which has an impact on time management. Another key fact is to lay out your priorities and focus on what’s important.
If I had two tests in one day I would study for them at the same time I would set my priorities straight. There is no reason. to procrastinate and put yourself through that stress. Studying may be hard but in the meantime it will be worth it. Most likely I would study for them the weeks before leading up to the tests depending on how important they were to my grade. For example: final exams and midterms are things I would study for weeks beforehand while quizzes and tests I would study for about a week beforehand, I have had two tests in the same day before and let me say that it gets easier as you get them done
2) If there were two tests within one day I would set studying goals. I would start to organize notes appropriate for the upcoming tests. I would then start to look through the notes or upcoming lessons to get ahead of the class a bit and ask the professor any questions that I may not understand. I have in my time procrastinated and have made strategies to study before, and during those times where I actually have focused and used these strategies, I did very well on days where I have had multiple tests in a day.
One of the best practices for time management is not to procrastinate. Even if you feel like you have all the time in the world, the best option is to get your work done as soon as possible. If you hadn't noticed, I definitely didn't say "one of my best practices", because I procrastinate everything..... which is horrible in college. As a student you must realize that your assignments may take longer then which you assume, so you have to be able to plan ahead.
