(Question 1) The first step to improving my chances of success would be to make sure I do well in my classes. In the past, I have had quite a difficult time with my math and science classes. Being a computer science minor, I plan on reaching out for help from tutors when I need to take my required math and science courses. Besides that, I can, at this moment, make sure that I have everything I need to be able to study effectively in my dorm.
1) What could you do right now to improve your chances of achieving your ultimate success? What I could do right now to improve my chances of achieving my ultimate success would be, attaining my elevated potential. I also believe in order to achieve my ultimate success I cannot, and will not be afraid of failure.I truly think that failure is just a stepping stone towards my ultimate success.Another possibility that could be geared towards improving my chances of ultimate success includes me being able to go the extra mile to attain my goals. If I go the extra distance to achieve my success, there is no doubt in which I cannot achieve that success.
2) Besides and education, what do you hope to gain from college? Besides an education, what I desire to gain from college is a great amount of connections to assist me in the professional world after I graduate. I would also desire to gain a greater amount of knowledge towards my major which is business management, and I would also like to build more knowledge on other peoples cultures.

I also believe in order to achieve my ultimate success is believing in myself, because being successful is in my hands to guide myself through a right path. In order for me to achieve my success is for me to truly want it, and build anticipation so I can increase my focus. Also to build up energy for my goal, because I know pursing my dreams will not be easy.
2) Since I was a little girl I would watch movies like Sydney White and Rudy and they would make me dream of the day that i would get that classic college experience. Getting away from my parents, party hard, and meet the love of my life. Luckily a lot has changed since then. Now i just want to be able to spread my wings and become independent. I am a twin, with two older sisters and very active parents. With that being said I have never truly been on my own. Ever since highschool I’ve been fairly confident in my abilities of being responsible and getting my school work done and things of that nature. But I’ve always had my incredibly supportive family breathing down my neck, keeping me in check. I really want college to prove that I am as independent as I think. I would like to gain confidence and trust in my abilities to become successful.
Question 2: I have many things I would like to learn from college. I hope to gain an understanding of how to work with different people in a new environments, and to learn how to work through my problems. I tend to run into a problem, then just run away when the problem becomes too hard. I also would like to learn time management and where and how to actually apply myself to things. College is where people start becoming adults, and learning all of these things I think would lead me more into adulthood than I may be without college.
To improve my chances of achieving ultimate success, I first need to stop procrastinating. I procrastinated a lot during my high school career and it always brought on more stress for me, so I need to work on being on top of my school work and getting my work done in a timely manner. I also need to do very well in my classes, I used to always be afraid to ask for help in class because I was too shy so, I need to seek help when I need it in order to succeed.
1.) What I can do to guarantee my success when it comes to my academics is always staying on top of it. Making sure I finish all of my work or academic duties before I decide to have any fun. Along with taking advantage of learning services to help better me as a student. 2.) Besides academics I hope to gain new experiences from being able to go to college. Such as making long lasting friendship, better studying tips, finding out more about myself and my interests. Also taking advantage of what the school offers and see what type of programs interest me whether it's study abroad, community service, or a certain club that I wasn't interested in until I started attending a school.
2. My biggest hope is that college will be a turning point for all aspects of my life. I want to open myself up to the idea of making new friends (which is rather difficult for me) and become confident in my newfound independence. Mainly, though, I would have to say that the overarching goal that I am working towards is coming into my own, so to speak. College will hopefully be the place where I can really begin to see my full potential and discover my interests, passions, and creative abilities.

2. Aside from a good education, I hope that I am able to gain many aspects from college. I hope that I get to burst my bubble and be able to meet new people and new opportunities that will shape me into who and what I want to become. I also hope that college will help me become more responsible for myself. I expect to improve on my time managing skills and be more disciplined. Keeping things in mind such as paying bills, doing laundry, cooking, and working in campus while focusing on my school work. As for the college experience in living on campus, I hope to gain an insight on how it feels to be independent and appreciate my parents for everything they have given me.
2) Besides education what I would love to gain from college is being able to start over. Pretty much with a clean slate. This means making new friends, trying to do things in college that I didnt do during high school. I want to become more independent, confident and responsible. I am also looking forword to working with different type of people, to build my people skills and my interpersonal skills. I am mostly looking to step out of my comfort zone and try to reach my full potential as a person and a student.

College is a different environment then high school, all the decisions you make affect you and your future. The simple task of going to class can cost you a grade. I hope to learn how to manage my time and classes and work and to be more independent. I also hope to achieve new social skills and to be able to socialize and engage with others from different backgrounds and towns and majors.

In addition, I can also benefit from being punctual and independent by being on time to school and with the due dates of my assignments. I will also take all the advantages that are offered to me and make the best out of them.

Although education is a given, not everything else is guaranteed. Besides education, I hope to gain experience through internships in my field of study. I also hope to network with other people that share the same interests as me. With both internships and networking, I gain experience in my field of study and become more prepared in a possible future career.
2. Besides an education, I hope I gain the experience of self reliance . As we mature from children to adults, we have always had the assistance of a guardian. A guardian that assist and nurture us from the world . In college I want to start relying on myself more. The only way to grow is to allow myself to stop thinking about always having a safe net and deal with what I’ve been dealt with. College is the only chance I get to escape the role of a child and show my parents that I am able to take care of myself .
Other than an education, I hope to gain independence from my time here in Kean University. Coming out on my own to the University campus, it has come to my attention that I am always dependant on my parents for mostly everything. I hope to change that, and become more independent and have more trust in myself.
